The BBC reports that "Changes to rules governing the right of Gurkhas to settle in Britain will be announced within three weeks". You may recall that Joanna Lumley has been a prominent member of the campaign to change what was a stupid ruling.
It could be said that the Government, as in just about every area of policy, managed to get themselves into an 'absolutely fabulous pickle' on this particular subject.
