Cash & Carry

So the Conservative Party members in Stone have decided to 'carry' on with their Member of Parliament.

It would help if John Prendergrast would clarify 'overwhelming' - for instance in a committee of say ten, were five to vote 'aye' and five 'abstain' one could hardly call the result 'overwhelming'.

A further point worth considering is why should a 'clique' decide whether an MP continues - is it only that 'clique' who pay his mortgage, allowances and expenses?

Of course not - which is the reason why open primaries* must be introduced.

* If not sure what 'open primaries' are - buy a copy of 'The Plan' for which a link exists on the right of this blog.
