Nothing could illustrate the different world in which polticians of today live than this quote by David Cameron, on the subject of our presence in Afghanistan,.
“There is cross party support, there is a consensus for what we are doing in Afghanistan.........."
There may well be cross party support, there may well be a consensus Mr. Cameron, however one question if I may?
Are not politicians elected to implement policies that have been agreed by the electorate, rather than those the politicians want?
