Your Details Are Safe With Us

Of course they are - if you don't bother collecting them!

"Green said that the Home Office admitted almost two years ago that there were 2.3 million people who had been convicted, cautioned or warned and had a record on the police national computer but did not have their DNA profile logged on the database. This contrasts sharply with the number of innocent people — more than 975,000 at the last count — who have been arrested but never charged or convicted of an offence yet whose DNA has been collected and logged."

And these are the people who want to micro-manage our lives!

I'm getting the feeling it's deliberate.

"there are good reasons for believing that a significant majority of the prison population has DNA" would have been a much better quote..
