Two Versions Of The Same Story

First up: the BBC. Next up: Open Europe.

And the BBC wonders why it has become so reviled?

Two 'cast iron' (something iDave knows a great deal about) certainties: (a) it will eventually be introduced and (b) we will not get a referendum on the further transfer of power (of tax raising).

Oh, sorry one moment - What's that? Oh, right, as I thought but thanks anyway. Apologies dear reader, that was William Hill calling back to confirm they would not even consider 'opening a book' on that!

I shan't swear properly here, only insofar as to say "thank eff I don't pay a licence fee anymore".

I struggle to articulate my loathing for the Beeb's twisting of issues and omissions. Soft loans (£141 million, that sort of thing) and loyalties, etc...

CS, feel free to say what you like......

By the way, people still pay the licence fee.....

Oh and yes, totally agree. The BBC would not know 'fair reporting' if it smacked them in the face!

I wonder if the filthy bbc ever even considers us, the British populace, when it is covering news issues. They take our money and use it to propogate the interests of just about anyone but those to whom they should owe allegiance; the English, Irish, Welsh and Scottish peoples of these islands. They are besotted with socialism and islam. and the common-sense of ordinary people is ridiculed, belittled and ignored by them. In fact, since the election in May, the bbc has been even more duplicitous, it that is possible. It is as if they are daring the present government to sanction them because of their actions. I truly hope that some time soon, the bbc is broken to such an extent that it can never again promote its warped view of the world, and do any more damage to us, its paymasters.

jic, perhaps our political system needs to be also "broken to such an extent that it can never again promote its warped view of the world, and do any more damage to us, its paymasters."

Nice comment of yours - well said!

w42, on 1 & 2 - yup, know and appreciate all that - unfortunately the 'great unwashed' haven't a clue!
